SCOLING TERMS & RULES
Last Updated: [3 July 2026]
1. Introduction and Legal Framework
Welcome to Scoling.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). This Platform is owned, operated, and managed under the legal entity of PT Smart Cendekia Indonesia. By accessing, creating an account, browsing, or utilizing any services provided on this platform, whether registering as a Student, an Independent Language Tutor, a Cultural Informant, or a Corporate Client (B2B), you explicitly agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms, rules, and conditions specified herein.
Scoling operates as an integrated educational marketplace designed to connect international language acquisition with regional cultural preservation. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Rules, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Platform.
2. User Classifications and Ecosystem Roles
To facilitate a structured learning environment, the Platform classifies its users into distinct categories, each bound by specific operational boundaries:
- Students (B2C): Individuals registered to acquire language proficiency, prepare for academic pathways, or study regional customs through standard classes or our collaborative Social Learning mechanism.
- Language Tutors: Independent educational contractors verified by the Platform to deliver professional, curriculum-based language instruction.
- Cultural Informants: Verified local practitioners, regional experts, or community representatives providing authentic insights into regional dialects, history, and local wisdom.
- Corporate Clients (B2B): Commercial enterprises, governmental agencies, or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) utilizing the Platform for structured employee upskilling.
3. Platform Integrity and The Zero-Leakage Policy
To maintain transactional transparency, data safety, and operational sustainability, Scoling strictly enforces a Zero-Leakage Policy.
- Centralized Environment: All communications, scheduling arrangements, class deliveries, and academic file exchanges must take place exclusively within the integrated platform infrastructure, specifically using Scoling Messenger and our built-in virtual classrooms.
- Prohibition of Off-Platform Redirection: Users are strictly prohibited from soliciting, sharing, or exchanging personal contact details (including but not limited to WhatsApp numbers, personal emails, Telegram handles, or external payment links) prior to or during their engagement on the Platform.
- System-Level Auditing: The Platform employs automated systemic validation filters within its communication modules to detect policy non-compliance. Any attempt to bypass the platform's escrow or scheduling structure constitutes a severe breach of contract.
4. Financial Infrastructure and Payment Processing
Scoling provides a secure, reliable, and audited financial process for all transactions conducted within the marketplace.
- DOKU Payment Gateway Integration: For transactions processed within Indonesia, Scoling utilizes DOKU as its primary third-party payment gateway infrastructure. Users can execute secure payments via authorized bank transfers, supported credit cards, and local e-wallets linked directly to DOKU.
- Social Learning (Kelas Patungan) Mechanics: Under the Kelas Patungan framework, the total cost of a group cohort session is distributed equally among a designated group of 2 to 5 students. Class access credentials and virtual meeting rooms are automatically generated by the system only after all participating members have successfully completed their respective payment shares.
- Scoling Balance: Approved financial reversals, adjustments, or operational credits are issued directly to the user's Scoling Balance. Funds maintained in the Scoling Balance are non-transferable and can only be applied toward future course bookings within the Platform.
5. Enforcement, Suspension, and Zero Refund Policy
PT Smart Cendekia Indonesia reserves the right to protect its operational model through decisive account management.
- Account Revocation: Any user verified by the administration to have bypassed the platform infrastructure or engaged in off-platform transactions will face immediate, permanent account suspension.
- Forfeiture of Funds: In the event of account termination due to a violation of the Zero-Leakage Policy or fraudulent activities, any remaining funds within the user's Scoling Balance, pending tutor commissions, or unutilized class allocations will be permanently forfeited as a contractual penalty. No refunds or withdrawals will be granted under these circumstances.
6. B2B Enterprise Metrics and Educational Disclaimers
For corporate and institutional frameworks, Scoling serves as a verified tracking infrastructure.
- Proof of Learning Documentation: Corporate accounts are equipped with a dedicated dashboard to monitor employee engagement. Progress updates, course completions, and performance assessments are manually logged by Tutors into the system, generating a validated Proof of Learning report visible to corporate administrators.
- Limitation of Academic Outcomes: While Scoling provides verified instructors and structured materials, the Platform acts as a marketplace rather than an accredited testing institution. Consequently, Scoling does not guarantee specific scores on external standardized language examinations (such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOPIK, or JLPT) or immediate vocational placements. Academic progress remains dependent on the individual student's diligence.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- Platform Ownership: All source codes, interface designs, structural workflows, brand marks, and administrative reports generated on Scoling.com are the exclusive intellectual property of PT Smart Cendekia Indonesia.
- Instructional Assets: All custom syllabi, digital texts, and course materials uploaded by Tutors or Cultural Informants remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Instructors grant registered students a limited, non-commercial, revocable license to use these materials solely for personal learning purposes.

8. Revisions to the Terms
Scoling reserves the right to modify, amend, or restructure these Terms & Rules at any time to align with legal upgrades or platform expansions. Updates will become effective immediately upon being posted on this webpage. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically. Continued utilization of the Platform following revisions indicates a binding acceptance of the updated rules.
9. Dispute Resolution and Corporate Contact
Any operational disputes, administrative concerns, or structural policy questions must be directed to the official management channels:
- Internal Resolution: Users can submit formal support tickets directly through the customer support section inside the platform dashboard.
- Official Correspondence: For legal notices and corporate inquiries, please contact our administrative team via email at official@scoling.com.
